He began teaching himself to code at night, building Shopify themes before he knew what Liquid was, reverse-engineering apps to understand why they converted.

Just a laptop, a merchant who believed in him, and the unshakeable conviction that if he stayed consistent, the results would follow.

Sahil Patel, Deep's brother, had taken the formal route - computer engineering, five years in enterprise systems, production-grade APIs that had to be bulletproof. When he co-founded Nugro Tech, he brought the architecture: scalable Shopify app backends, clean integrations, and the engineering rigour that high-volume stores demand.

Together they are the two halves that make a complete Shopify agency. Deep brings the front-of-house craft - premium theme builds, conversion-focused storefronts, and the merchant instinct to know what drives revenue. Sahil brings the infrastructure that holds it all up: custom app development, API integrations, and a senior engineer's patience to do things right the first time.

Nugro Tech now serves Shopify merchants across 2+ countries - from USA DTC brands doing seven figures to international retailers scaling onto Shopify Plus. The team is small by design.
